What do you like doing on your days off?
On my days off, I love to go for runs and explore the outdoors. You can also find me walking to
nearby coffee shops to enjoy different neighborhood atmospheres. I enjoy reading and watching
movies and could probably do both for days on end. In addition, I've recently taken a liking to
yard games - if you ever want to learn how to play Kubb, hit me up!
Interests within obstetrics and gynecology?
All of it! Particularly opioid addiction in pregnancy and neonatal abstinence syndrome. I also
enjoy adolescent gynecology and birth control counseling!
Why did you choose University of Cincinnati?
The amazing people and superb training. I have constant support all around me - from senior
residents to program managers to nursing staff. Not only am I being taught how to be an
excellent physician, but I also feel comfortable in my role to ask questions and seek out
guidance. As a perk, Cincinnati is a great place to live! It's a large enough city that has tons of
activities, but it never fails to embody the "Midwest nice!"
Research Interests:
Research interests include opioid use during pregnancy and long-term addiction outcomes in
offspring.

What do you like doing on your days off?
My fiancé, 3-year old Boxer mix (Bailey), and I really enjoy getting outside as much as possible.
We love to explore all of the parks in Cincinnati, road trip to the different cities around the
Cincinnati area, and travel to different countries to experience their cultures. On my resting days
off, we love to watch movies, cook, bake, listen to music, and garden in our home.
Interests within obstetrics and gynecology?
I am interested in pursuing a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. I am
passionate about patient advocacy, minimizing health disparities for diverse patient populations,
and medical education.
Why did you choose University of Cincinnati?
As a medical student at the University of Cincinnati, I was able to truly see the positive, uplifting
relationships that the faculty had with each resident. There were so many faculty members that
were eager to be teachers and mentors whenever anyone needed help. The patient population
at the two main hospitals is extremely diverse and I knew that I would get a well-rounded
education in all aspects of OB/GYN. The city is also filled with amazing food and breweries,
hiking trails, and has all four seasons (my favorite is fall!).
Research Interests:
Fertility preservation, PCOS, and minimizing racial disparities for maternal and infant health.

I love playing tennis, playing board games, and baking delicious treats.
Interests within obstetrics and gynecology?
Gynecologic Oncology, Robotics, and Women's Reproductive Rights.

The University of Cincinnati had everything I was looking for, a strong academic program with a
diverse patient population and great people to work hard but also have fun with at the hospital.
Recent Publications/Research Interest:
I recently published a manuscript about LARC usage in an inner-city clinic. I also have 3
manuscripts in the publication process, one on repeat myomectomies, and two about predicting
obgyn resident success based on application and residency data. Lastly, I have just started
research on abnormal pap smears with LARC usage to see if there is any increased risk of HPV
with LARC usage.
