Revaluation Process/Procedure
The following procedure will be followed instead of the existing Revaluation
process after the terminal examinations:
A student can apply for Viewing” his/her answer-scripts of all the courses
he/she appeared for theory examinations, except industry supported
courses, within 3 days including the day of publication of results, on
payment of a prescribed fee as per the procedure notified by the Controller
of Examinations in each semester. The student will be permitted to
appraise the evaluation and make specific appeals on the evaluation to the
Controller of Examinations. The appeals will be assessed, by the respective
Head of the Department and a team of faculty members, and the revision of
marks, if any, will be updated in the results.
The above supersedes the Clauses for Revaluation in all UG/PG/PTBE regulations
and comes to immediate effect for ALL the regular and private students.
Procedure outline:
1. The students have to record, within three days from the day of publication of
results, their interest, to take part in the “Answer-paper Viewing”, through
online form ,as per the notification made by the Controller of Examinations
from time to time, by paying a prescribed fee of Rs. 500/= per subject or
course.
2. The students will be allowed, as per the schedule published by the
Controller of Examinations, to go through their answer-scripts. Students
can record their appeals, if any, in the prescribed form after viewing the
marks awarded by the examiner, total marks etc.
3. Controller of Examinations will organize to address the appeals. Change in
marks, if any, will be updated in the results and the revised results will be
published.
