II. Degree Requirements / Time Limits:
Full-time students enrolled in the RCBC-
Jefferson College of Health Professions
Guaranteed Admission Program must
complete their appropriate degree within
three (3) years of enrolling in the program.
Part-time students must complete their
appropriate degree within five (5) years
of enrolling in the program.
III.Required Recommendations:
At the time of transfer to Jefferson College of
Health Professions, each student must provide
two (2) letters of recommendation. One of the
letters must come from a designated Rowan
College at Burlington County representative
and the other one from a personal, profes-
sional, or academic source. The RCBC letter
will have to include a statement as to whether
the student is recommended or not recom-
mended and will be followed by an evaluation
in narrative form commenting on such crite-
ria as academic performance; citizenship; and
the student’s ability to function in a health
care setting, particularly in those programs
which involve patient contact.
IV. Admissions Application Deadline:
Students in the RCBC-Jefferson College of
Health Professions Guaranteed Admission
Program must complete the Jefferson College
of Health Professions application for
admission and submit this, and all supporting
documentation, to the RCBC Director of
Transfer by the third week in January in the
year they wish to enroll.
V. Meeting with the
RCBC Transfer Director/Advisors:
Students in this program are strongly
encouraged to meet with a RCBC Transfer
Advisor each semester. The Transfer Advisor
will help outline the necessary courses for
completing the appropriate Associate’s degree
and apprise students of the relevant transfer
procedures for this Guaranteed Admission
Program. The student is also expected to
meet with the Director of Transfer the
semester prior to applying to Thomas
Jefferson University.
