From Miami International Airport :
Take the I-836 WEST exit from the Airport
Follow I-836 to the Florida Turnpike
Take the Florida Turnpike SOUTH exit
Follow the Florida Turnpike to the Tamiami Trail exit (SW 8th Street)
Take the SW 8th Street EAST exit
Follow SW 8th Street, FIU will appear on the right before SW 107th Avenue
From I-95 , Downtown Miami , Ft. Lauderdale , and West Palm Beach :
Take I-95 to I-836 WEST
Follow I-836 to the Florida Turnpike
Take the Florida Turnpike SOUTH exit
Follow the Florida Turnpike to the Tamiami Trail exit (SW 8th Street)
Take the SW 8th Street EAST exit
Follow SW 8th Street, FIU will appear on the right before SW 107th Avenue
From western Palm Beach / Broward County or the Florida Turnpike north:
Take the Florida Turnpike SOUTH
Follow the Florida Turnpike to the Tamiami Trail exit (SW 8th Street)
Take the SW 8th Street EAST exit
Follow SW 8th Street, FIU will appear on the right before SW 107th Avenue
Graham Center (GC)
Directions to FIU Graham Center (GC):
Enter FIU through the entrance located on SW 107 Avenue and16 Street (International
Drive)
Turn right at the traffic circle
Follow the road until you approach the stop sign
Make a right at the stop sign and make an immediate left into the parking lot
(Metered Parking)
Inform the parking attendant that you are visiting campus for the Board of Governors
meeting
Complimentary Parking will be provided inside Lots 33 and 35
The FIU Graham Center (GC) is adjacent to the parking lots
Driving Directions to and from Westin Colonnade Hotel
Directions from Westin Colonnade Coral Gables to FIU:
Take Coral Way/Miracle Mile/SW 24 Street west bound
Follow Coral Way/SW 24 Street to SW 107 Avenue and turn right (north)
Continue on SW 107 Avenue to the corner of SW 16th Street and turn left
Enter FIU at the corner of SW 107 Avenue and 16th Street
Directions from FIU to Westin Colonnade Coral Gables:
Exit FIU at SW 107 Avenue and 16th Street
Turn left (north) on 107 Avenue and continue to corner of SW 8th Street
Turn right (east) on the corner of SW 107 Avenue and 8th Street
Continue driving east on SW 8th Street to Ponce de Leon Blvd for approximately 6
miles
Note: Ponce de Leon Blvd is located between 42 Avenue and 37 Avenue
Turn right (south) on the corner of SW 8th Street and Ponce de Leon Blvd
Note: You have now entered Coral Gables where the streets have names instead of
numbers
Continue south on Ponce de Leon Blvd. to the corner of Aragon Avenue
Note: Aragon Avenue is after Alhambra Blvd. and before Miracle Mile/Coral Way
Turn left on Aragon (east) and the Westin Colonnade Hotel is on your immediate
right

Directions from Hotel Sofitel to FIU:
Head southeast on Blue Lagoon Dr toward NW 57th Ct
Turn left onto FL-959 N/NW 57th Ave/N Red Rd
Slight left to merge onto FL-836 W
Take the exit on the left onto FL-826 S toward Coral Way
Take the US-41/SW 8th St exit toward Tamiami Trail
Keep right at the fork, follow signs for US-41/SW 8th St W/Tamiami Trail W and
merge onto US-41 N/SW 8th St
Turn right onto SW 107th Ave
Continue on SW 107 Avenue to the corner of SW 16th Street and turn right
Enter FIU at the corner of SW 107 Avenue and 16th Street
Directions from FIU to Hotel Sofitel:
Head east on SW 8th St toward E Campus Cir/University Dr
Turn left onto SW 107th Ave, heading East
Slight right to merge onto FL-836 E toward Miami International Airport

Exit onto FL-959 S/NW 57th Ave/N Red Rd
Turn right onto Blue Lagoon Dr
Make a U-turn
