develop nursing education is a great way to share your knowledge and build your resume while ensuring that your
colleagues have the most updated resources to provide high-quality cancer care.
There are numerous volunteer opportunities for you to use your oncology nursing skills to improve patient care,
support fellow nurses, build your leadership skills, and most importantly, transform the way the world cares for
patients with cancer.

ones added throughout the year. Some of cyclical volunteer opportunities are highlighted below:
ONS Congress and ONS Bridge Content Planning Teams
Help plan, implement, and evaluate the sessions and events that address practice issues. The planning teams
require ONS membership to participate. Keep an eye out in January for ONS Congress applications and in
September for ONS Bridge applications to open.
Abstract Reviewers
Review and provide feedback on abstracts overall success, as well as provide general reviewer comments.
Institutional Pilot Testers
Complete all aspects of ONS courses—read the content, review links, complete learning checkpoints, participate
in discussions, and complete the post-test—to help guarantee participants have a successful experience.
Program Faculty
Develop content, slides, and other materials that will be presented and used for live educational programming.
Submit Your Abstract to Present at ONS Congress

A: Your membership expires 12 months from your join or
renew date. Your membership expiration can be found on
your official ONS membership card, located on your ONS
account. You may also contact customer relations at 866-

A: Renew online at ons.org/join-renew or by contacting
customer relations at 866-257-4ONS. ONS added
an option for membership autorenewal. On the online
application, choose membership autorenewal to maintain
uninterrupted access to all of the ONS resources and
benets you need each year.
Q: CAN I RENEW MY MEMBERSHIP BEFORE IT

A: You can renew your membership at any time
throughout the year. Your expiration date will simply be
extended by an additional 12 months.

2. Click Login in the upper right of the screen.
3. Click the Forgot Password link next to the orange Login button.
4. To locate your account, enter the email address or phone

Account.
5. A list of email address and phone numbers from your account
will display. Choose an email address or cellphone number to
receive your password reset code. Click Send Code.
6. A six-digit code will be sent to your contact selection.
7. Enter your six-digit code and select Submit Code.
8. Enter your new password.
